Machining

Our machine shop uses Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining and Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) to produce consistent high-quality parts.

The commonly used materials are aluminum, steel, polycarbonate, ABS, nylon, and Delrin. Since late 2018, we have started to use various certificated fire-retardant materials, and so many of our fabricated products are fire retardant and RoHS compliant.

The 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC equipment are all utilized. We are extremely attentive to precision during setup. This allows us to produce high-precision parts with a relatively low cost.

This plastic piece is machined out of fire retardant ABS which is also RoHS compliant. It was part of the Kiosk prototype used to past the European safety test.

Ice claw for exhibition, for Geron Associates

This claw was full of organic curves and was machined from a large acrylic piece. We polished it clear in order for it to resemble ice.

The entire bezel was machined out of one aluminum block with several places of undercut. It is large and precise.
